Every contractor — including Launch Partners — must complete a $50 background check. It is run annually, once per year. If your verification paperwork (insurance, licenses, workers' comp, etc.) expires before your annual re-certification is due, that paperwork is re-certified earlier — but the background check itself is only run once a year. The first check is required before Solaryien Connect launches; it is not charged at sign-up — Launch Partners are notified separately with a window to complete it. No contractor is active without a current background check.
