("Solaryien," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Solaryien Connect platform at SolaryienConnect.com and through the Solaryien Connect mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account registration — name, email address, password, phone number, and for contractors: company name, license number, and business address
Project postings — project description, location, trade category, timeline, and contact information
Contractor profiles — license information, insurance information, trade specialties, service areas, photos, and professional biography
Payment information — billing name, address, and payment card details (processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers)
Communications — messages, inquiries, and other content you send through the Platform
Reviews and ratings — content you submit about contractors or projects
Verification documents — contractor license certificates, insurance certificates, and identity information submitted for background checks

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage data — pages visited, features used, search queries, and actions taken on the Platform
Device information — IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
Location data — general geographic location derived from your IP address or, with your permission, precise location from your device
Cookies and similar technologies — we use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze Platform usage

1.3 Information from Third Parties

Background check providers — results of contractor background checks conducted through third-party verification services
License verification — confirmation of contractor license status from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation
Payment processors — transaction confirmation and billing information from our payment processing partners

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Operate and provide the Platform, including processing project leads, matching contractors with projects, and facilitating communications between users
Verify contractor licenses, insurance, and background information
Process subscription payments and billing
Send transactional communications — lead notifications, bid updates, account alerts, and subscription confirmations
Send marketing communications about Platform features and updates (you may opt out at any time)
Enforce our Terms of Service and other Platform policies

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 With Other Users

Contractor profiles — including name, company, license status, verification badge, trade specialties, and reviews — are visible to homeowners and project owners on the Platform. When a lead is distributed to a contractor, the homeowner is shown the contractor's name and profile. When a homeowner submits a project, their name and project details are shared with the contractors who receive the lead. We do not share homeowner contact information publicly; contact details are shared only with the specific contractors who receive a particular lead.

3.2 With Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform, including payment processors, background check providers, email delivery services, analytics providers, and cloud hosting providers. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as directed by us and in accordance with applicable law.

3.3 For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Solaryien, its users, or the public.

3.4 Business Transfers

If Solaryien, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have.

3.5 No Sale of Personal Information

Solaryien does not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, as necessary to provide the Platform services, and as required to comply with legal obligations. Contractor verification records are retained for a minimum of five years. When you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within ninety (90) days, except as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

5. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Account information — you may update or correct your account information at any time through your account settings
Marketing communications — you may opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly. You will continue to receive transactional communications related to your account and subscription.
Cookies — you may control cookie settings through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform.
Account deletion — you may request deletion of your account by contacting us. We will process your request within ninety (90) days subject to our data retention obligations.
Data access — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below.

7. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by prominent notice on the Platform. The updated policy will be effective as of the date stated at the top of the policy. Your continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
