These Homeowner Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the residential features of the Solaryien Connect platform at SolaryienConnect.com, operated by Solaryien, Inc. ("Solaryien," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or submitting a project request, you agree to these Terms.
To submit a project or use most Platform features, you must create a free account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account current. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
2.1 You may submit project requests by describing the work you need, providing your location, and entering your contact information. Project requests are free to submit. There is no charge to homeowners or project owners for using the Platform.
2.2 When you submit a project request, Solaryien distributes your request to 3-5 verified, subscribed contractors in your service area. You will be shown the names, company names, trade specialties, and verification status of the contractors who received your lead. You may then wait for contractors to contact you or reach out directly to any contractor on the list.
2.3 You may also send a direct invitation to bid to any specific contractor listed in the Platform's contractor directory.
2.4 You agree to submit only genuine project requests for real construction work you intend to proceed with. You may not use the Platform to collect contractor bids without genuine intent to hire, to gather pricing intelligence for non-genuine projects, or to contact contractors for purposes unrelated to legitimate construction work.
3.1 All contractors listed on the Platform have undergone Solaryien's verification process, which includes confirmation of a valid Florida contractor license, review of current General Liability insurance, and a background check on the individual owner or principal.
3.2 Solaryien's verification process does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or warranty regarding any contractor's quality of work, professionalism, pricing, or fitness for your specific project. You are solely responsible for independently evaluating any contractor before entering into a contract.
3.3 Solaryien strongly recommends that before hiring any contractor you: (a) verify the contractor's license independently at the Florida DBPR website; (b) request and review current proof of insurance; (c) obtain multiple bids; (d) check references; (e) review the contractor's work history; and (f) execute a written contract for any work performed.
3.4 Solaryien is not responsible for the actions, conduct, work quality, or contractual performance of any contractor. Any dispute about construction work is solely between you and the contractor.
4.1 Your contact information is shared with the contractors who receive your lead so they can respond to your project request. By submitting a project, you consent to this sharing.
4.2 Contractors receiving your lead are contractually prohibited from using your contact information for any purpose other than responding to your specific project request.
4.3 Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
After a project is completed, you may submit a review of the contractor. Reviews must be based on genuine first-hand experience and must be truthful and accurate. You may not submit false, misleading, or defamatory reviews. Solaryien may remove reviews that violate these Terms.
You may not: submit false or misleading project requests; use the Platform to harass or abuse contractors; submit spam or promotional content; attempt to circumvent the Platform to obtain contractor services fraudulently; or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
The Solaryien Connect residential platform is free for homeowners and project owners. Solaryien generates revenue from contractor subscriptions. We do not charge homeowners per lead, per contact, or per project posted.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED AS IS. SOLARYIEN DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE QUALITY, SAFETY, LEGALITY, OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE OF ANY CONTRACTOR'S SERVICES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLARYIEN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR FROM ANY CONTRACTOR'S SERVICES, INCLUDING PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR ECONOMIC LOSS.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute shall be resolved in Polk County, Florida.
